Cabinet co-location provides the highest level of physical security for your rack-mount servers. Included with all AtlantaNAP cabinet co-location service is a 42U rack-mount. Clients may send their servers to us for installation, or choose to do the installation themselves. Each cabinet in our facility is locked by key or combination lock and protected by our state-of-the-art building monitoring and security systems.

Physical security for your Cabinet co-location is one of the greatest strengths of the AtlantaNAP.. From the street you enter though a keycard access gate surrounded by 10 foot high razor wire fence. Yet another keycard door gives you access to the Atlanta NAP co-location facility this time on a 1inch steel door. After signing in with the Atlanta NAP security, you are given access to the customer area. Datacenter facility access is given after a biometric hand scan followed by an additional keycard door. Your co-location cabinet will have a key or combination lock.

AtlantaNAP is also an armed 24/7/365 facility and employees off-duty police officers as security.

The AtlantaNAP facility is monitored by an advanced building status system designed to measure everything from temperature to structural building integrity. The system adjusts the AtlantaNAP facility to automatically provide your cabinet a comfortable environment. The AtlantaNAP power systems are entirely redundant with a dual-fed parallel architecture.
